Regional Deformation

GPos is measuring Continuously Operating Reference Sites (CORS) around the United States' Great Lakes at millimeter-level accuracy.

The red symbols and scale on the left of the figure show the change in the vertical position of a GPS site in Michigan. The water level measurements from a nearby tide gauge are superimposed in blue. Both scales are in meters.
